Day out with Grandma and Jean

This isn't the greatest picture but it is Grandma, Me, And Aunt Jean at the top of the Joseph Smith building. We had a great day out.

I spent my Tuesday off with my Grandma and Great Aunt Jean.

I had such a wonderfull day we took the front runner down to salt lake and went to the Joseph Smith memorial Building wow that is a beautiful place. We seen the Movie there and took a tour. We had lunch at the Lions House and then seen the Tabernacle and toured the Conference Center wow that place is huge. It was a great day I enjoy spending time with them they are super fun ladies, I look up to bolth of them.

Day after Christmas

We finally went Snowmobiling up monte with our friends. It was a ton of fun even though the snow was so deep and fluffy that I kept getting stuck stuck stuck. Poor Justin and Chad had to keep diggin me out. Then we hurried back home to make it to the Jazz Game. We had great seats to the Game we had row 19 seats and this time they won the game. The Freeway was horrible going down and back but we made it safe Thanks to chads great driving hehe.

Christmas

Christmas Morning we relaxed like always. We got up and seen what was under the tree I must have been a good girl this year I was very spoiled. I kinda felt bad that all I got justin was some clothes. We made it over to the neighbors to see what the nephew and niece got and they had alot of fun new toys including a wii. Then we went to the in-laws house and had lunch and spent the afternoon with the family. We ended the night at grandpas house up the road with all the family.

Christmas Cookies

So all day Sunday and Monday night Jess and I made christmas goodies. it was a blast. first off sugar cookies darn they didn't turn out to swell. then candy cane cookies darn they didn't turn out so swell either, then snickerdoodle's yummy they turned out good. Then enough of the cookies we moved onto fudge she made peanut butter fudge and I made some simple chocolate fudge bolth turned out yummy as ever. Next we made some caramel candies, peanut brittle, and we ended Sunday with Caramel and chocolate covered pretzels. mmmm mmmm mmmm.

So Since the first sugar cookies didn't work out we did some more on Monday night those Turned out good we have fun decorating and eating them. Kip and Justin helped at the end when the football game was over, Kip rolled out some and Justin made a big snowman out of the last of the dough. We are gonna make more when we get some better sprinkles and cookie cutters.

We finally got some snow

Finally The Snow Has Come. Yes it is cold and snowy but I love it. Now it feels a little more like Christmas Time. Santa has to have snow for his sleigh right? in utah anyway.

Besides I think my dogs like to run and play in the snow too.

Christmas dance program

last week we had the christmas dance program. It was so freezing cold but
the girls all did a really good job. it was at christmas village in ogden. afterwards we enjoyed hot chocolate that was just warm, and walked around looking at the lights and little shops. Thanks
to all my dancers for putting on a really cute show. I really enjoy watching them perform. For some of them it was their first time and I thought they would freeze up but everyone smiled big and wiggled cute.

Christmas Decorations

Okay I finally decorated for christmas. Every year I forget how much decor I have collected over the years, but I found a spot for all of it. I did not plan on having more then one tree but I ended up with a Denver Bronco Tree, Jimmie Johnson Tree, Kasey Kahne Tree, And our normal christmas tree. Since there is no snow outside I put Snowman Everywhere inside.

Turkey Day

Turkey Gobbler I was in charge of the fruit this year. I had a little to much fun making these turkeys. But they was a big hit with the kids. Thanksgiving was so Good Like always.

Monday night we got free tickets to the utah jazz/chicago bulls game from justins boss. We had a wonderfull time. The seats were amazing and the game was tons of fun even if they lost. I have to say THE BEAR is the coolest part of the whole game. Thanks a million Brent for the tickets we really enjoyed them.

Girls weekend

I had such a fun girls weekend. It all started Thursday night 13 of us went to dinner and to see the movie TWILIGHT yes it was good even if I never read the book. It was a ton of fun staying out until three in the morning with a fun bunch of girls. Then Friday night 8 of us went to Park city and stayed the night. We had a ton of fun going to dinner, staying up all night talking and playing, Sharing memories and pictures. Saterday we hit the outlets and got lots of good deals then we went to one of the coolest stores in Utah Cabella's. When walking through that store you wish you was very rich! I finished the weekend off going out to dinner with 4 of our friends and watching Jeff Dunhams Christmas Special.. It is so hilarious.
Thanks to all my friends who made the weekend such a blast I had a ton of fun.

It is so amazing to me how much work goes into just a tire at the race. from taping them to know whick side, to checking the lugs to make sure they don't have any burrs, to glueing on the lugs so they are in place when they put them up to the car, to writing numbers on them to know what set they are and that is just some of it. so much stuff you don't realize until you get into it all

We had a fun bonfire at my dads house saterday night. We all rosted hot dogs and I made my two brothers some of my famous roasted starbursts. they never did say if they liked them I hope so. the night was so perfect. justin played a little B ball with my dad, brother, and uncle. and I enjoyed the campfire alot. this picture is of my little brother dustin and my big brother chad justin and I.

we got lots of autographs this year at nascar we went on qualifying day and seen alot of drivers most of them signed my bag and tickets. we got Dale Earnhart Jr., Rick Hendrick and lots more. Most of them are really nice and friendly but we didn't get kasey's or Jimmie's darn it

Nascar

Can't waite for this weekend we are going to pheonix for the nascar race. This will be our 3rd year going and it is so fun. We are going with our friends Kip and Jess It will be so much fun we all like someone different so it makes for a good ride down and back. I will get to see my family this weekend too. YIPPY I AM A LITTLE EXCITED. I am really hoping to get Kasey Kahne's autograph again this year or Jimmie Johnsons.

Leaves Leaves Everywhere

Saterday jarron and I raked up leaves and had a ton of fun playing and scattering them. My dogs kinda helped too. But Justin finally got them all cleaned up with the lawn mower. He also found the snake that has been haunting me for a few weeks. He was my hero for that!!!!!! My brother in law held the snake for a while and tried to get me to pet it and I want to so I can get over my fear but I just couldn't do it. So we killed it HEHE. After we got the yard cleaned up we all played on out four wheelers and mini bike. between us and the neighbors yard we have a good area to play.

Saterday

Saterday was a great day we got alot done around the house. I finally got my treasure chest done and we moved it into the house. I love it my living room looks new.

Halloween night

I look forward to halloween night even though we don't get alot of trick or treaters. we had more this year then I thought I would have. I stand by the door all night waiting for the kids to come around, I love handing out candy to all the fun kids. I dressed as a toilet and I got alot of giggles when I opened the door.

tucker

Tucker is my male dog, He isn't just spoiled by me but the neighbor girls maddy and olivia Love him to death. As you can see he loves it!!!!!!!!!!! Anytime I have tucker and trixie out in the yard maddy is over playing with him. I don't know a lot of my neighbors but maddy is definetly my favorite neighbor along with my family on the other side of us. I am really sad that maddy and olivia have to move soon. I am really going to miss them and I know tucker is gonna miss all the attention he gets.

Chuck E Cheese

Friday night we went to chuck e cheese, I haven't been there since I was a kid. I guess we still are kids though i had so much fun and we couldn't get justin off the nascar game.

my latest project

We helped our good friend Dave move into a new home and he was going to leave a really old chest in his garage because he had no room for it so I asked if I could have it. It has been a fun project it was full of tools and fun old stuff. I plan to paint it black and rough it up for a new tv stand in the living room. inside is a calander from 1950 with a guys hourly wage where he only made 1.60 a full days of work was around $12. the treasures that we got is so fun.

Puppies

We had puppies this summer a ton of them if you put mine and shauns together I think we had 17 or 18 all at one time. I had a ton of fun with them taking pictures and playing. We got them all together at shauns house for a photo shoot and came up with a ton of cute pics.

We had some fun this year helping my brother at the race track we love to go and watch and help if we can. I think this year we brought the rain everytime we helped. shaun and Justin had a down pour on them walking the horses to the paddock. I ran into some of the track people we got to know as kids and that is always fun to see them. I took holly to the races and her and parker had a ton of fun playing at the barn, racing in the stick horse race and playing at parkers house afterwards. They got rubber duckies for racing on their stick horses and that made their day.

Dance

This is my 5th year teaching dance and I love doing it. Every year just gets better and better. This year I have 34 Students and I enjoy each and everyone of them. It has been a blast seeing them grow and learn in dance. We just started in October and I can't waite for our christmas performance at the ogden ampitheater in December. On the 4th Of July last year the girls did an awsome job performing all the dances in the park. The 4 and 5 year olds looked adorable in their pink Sparkley sequined Outfits. One girl was brave enough to do a solo and she set a trend this year I have a lot of girls that want to to the same thing.

Hey there welcome to my blogg. I hope you enjoy it Just a little info to get to know me. My name is Shantel and my hubbies name is justin. I have known justin for ten years kinda crazy how fast time goes we have been married for seven years. We still laugh and have fun just like when we was teens I love it! We have two Really cute dogs that we got when we moved into the house I love to run and play with in the yard. We have three really cute nephews and an adorable niece.

We love to snowmobile in the winter there is nothing like all that adrenalin going through your body when you come to a big hill that you think there is noway i can top that and you give it a try and you do. Justin got a new snowmoile last year and it is a blast I want one now. hehe

We love to watch nascar alot, we bolth have drivers that we follow so that we can have a fun conversation when one is ahead of the other He cheers for jimmie johnson and I cheer for Kasey kahne. I must admit his driver is always ahead of mine. Kasey likes to crash alot but that is okay. I did get his autograph last year when we went tot he race with our friends kip and jessica. I must say thanks to Jessica she got me the autograph. We like to watch football as well, usaully the tv is flipping back and forth between the race and football on sunday. Usually the friends and neighboors come over on sunday and monday night.
